A Different Kind of Venture
It's a bit out of the ordinary and certainly not my professional background, but I own and operate a Heyday skincare franchise in Kirkland, WA. After selling my startup LegUp in 2022, I started exploring franchise opportunities while looking for some diversification — something that wouldn't need full-time focus, but was more than a passive investment.
A franchise helped me get up and running faster with operational support, and I genuinely love having a brick-and-mortar presence in the downtown Kirkland community. It's been an unexpectedly rewarding chapter.
